Their first game was against RCI, and they played well but came up short in their first game playing together against the tournament hosts, eventually dropping a 30-14 decision. The second game was against Fellows High School from Pembroke, a Triple A school, and the Jags pulled out a last second, 26-24 win, Melissa Verch making a perfect pass to Alana Moss for a clear layup and the win.
In the final contest, against St. Thomas of Russell, the girls found themselves in another close game, this ti9me winning on a foul shot by Rebecca MacLaren, 36-34. This second win was enough for the girls to be crowned tournament champs.
Melissa Verch, Rebecca MacLaren and Leanne Lecompte were the high scorers of the tournament for the Jaguars, with the whole team playing extremely well.
